Abstract

This research is motivated by television media which has an ideological function that can determine certain interests and perspectives and thoughts, especially the event of the Omnibus Low Job Creation Law which is so strong in Indonesian politics. This study aims to describe the use of pronouns against the speaker's partiality in the Mata Najwa event on Trans7 regarding the Omnibus Low Job Creation Law. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The data is in the form of speeches from the presenters in the Mata Najwa program entitled "They invent Job Creation: Behind the Pursuit of Showing the Job Creation Act". Based on the data analysis and discussion, it is concluded that there are 98 pronouns. Those who agree (government representatives) are 37 pronouns, and the group that disagrees is 61 pronouns. The number of pronouns in the "pro" group is 9 and 28 is not pronouns. Furthermore, the number of pronouns for the "con" group that takes 10 sides and those that do not take sides is 51. This means that it is clearly seen that the ideology, characteristics of Najwa Sihab in this case are open, independent and impartial because in the pro group out of 37 only 9 pronouns take sidesand the contra group of 61 pronouns only 10 favored.
